Dress Down Friday (19th July)

Children can come into school in their own clothes tomorrow. In return we are asking for a donation of a coin towards new playground equipment.

French Scavenger Hunt

This afternoon we worked in our teams to answer questions about France and it’s culture.

Samba Drumming

Today we had a taster workshop of samba drumming from Kieran at Kinetica Bloco. It was great fun. If your child enjoyed it, they run free workshops in Tulse Hill. Your child should have received a letter and leaflet with more information from school today.

Reminder: Swimming tomorrow

Just a quick reminder that all of Year 3 are doing a swimming assessment tomorrow at JAGS swimming pool. Please ensure they have their swimming costume, towel and a swimming hat (if possible), as well as a healthy snack for after the swim. For ease in getting changed, if possible, could you send them in to school with their swimming costume under their clothes. If your child is not able to swim 25 metres confidently then they will be asked to attend the swimming sessions for the rest of the week. You will be notified on Monday afternoon if your child needs to attend these sessions.

Many thanks

Sports Day Snaps!

A big thankyou to Mr Cranston for organising such a fun sports day and to all the parents that came down to support. I also feel very proud that 3CV gained the title for strongest class in the tug of war! Well done!
